Baby Photography in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands

One of the very best things about being a children's and family photographer is getting to spend lots of time with beautiful babies. This family and baby portrait session in Sutton Coldfield earlier this month with lovely little Alex was certainly no exception!

One of my favourite places to take on-location family photographs and children's portraits is in the family home as that's often where everyone is at their most relaxed and comfortable. On the day I visited Emily and Alastair, and Alex's beautiful older sister Grace, at their cottage in Sutton Coldfield it was chilly and rather grey outside, so we stayed indoors for much of the family portrait shoot. We spent the morning capturing some beautifully relaxed and natural portrait photographs of baby Alex. Whether awake, asleep, feeding or playing, he was impossibly gorgeous and the camera just loved him! During Alex's naps and feed times we persuaded big sister Grace to step into the spotlight and the resulting teen portraits of her are lovely and laid-back.
